REDEMPTIONS SONG

Justice had been forgotten, another one of the streets fallen soilders his death a faded memory. The mention of his name had been reduced to silence but the heat from their shared blood within her viens sizzled with life. .
Looking up at the large neon sign her heart pounded against her chest but fear didn’t live here. There was no turning back, Justice was dead and they had all paid but one. To conquer the beast all she had to do was step inside the Lions den; taking a deep breath she strolled towards the entrance marking the lone security guard.
.
Stacks yawned the cool breeze snapping him out of a doze as the young lady approached, opening the door he nodded as she passed through the entrance leaving a hint of sweet apples behind.
.
Gone was the slack jeans, the low fade and the overshirt shirt. The cap abandoned in the back seat, her face in full view she was just a beautiful stranger, a passing face. Tonight Jade had shedded her skin like a snake during rebirth, slithering towards her battle with the King of the Jungle with one thing in mind, remdemption.
