𝑯𝒆 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝒂𝒏 𝒊𝒏𝒗𝒊𝒔𝒊𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝒄𝒓𝒐𝒘𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒉𝒆 𝒉𝒂𝒅 𝒅𝒖𝒑𝒊𝒍𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒉𝒆𝒓. .
The crows had hollered their morning greeting more than once, but Sadie had left the compound at the first crow. It had taken an hour to perfect her attire but finally she was happy with her reflection.
Her skin was gleaming with coconut oil, her lips tinted red from her mother’s makeup bag and her hair wrapped delicately in the blue scarf he had given her for her birthday. The road was clear as she slipped down the beaten path towards the river. .
Spotting a row of blooming hisbicus flowers at the edge she picked the biggest one. Examining the flower before crushing it inside her palm
and rubbing the traces of scent onto her neck she proceeding through the trees.
There he stood in a white turban and matching white attire, smiling broadly he nodded respectfully as she closed in the space between them. .
“Morning Empress!”
“Morning King!”
Standing side by side at the peaceful river they looked so majestic. .
