Pedro Junior settled in his rocking chair happily as she prepared herself quickly. Once Pedro had been born, she had list herself in night feeds and forgotten herself unintentionally. A visit to the mall and a the hairdressers had adapted her outlook on her relationship. Mary had insisted it was a womans duty to keep the love alive. Maybe it was her fault; she had caused him to cheat and lie to her face; Just maybe it was her that needed to change.

Staring at her reflection in the mirror Emily ruffled her newly blonde hair, the roots has been omitted purposely as she mimicked Mollys style. They had been so sloppy with their torrid affair she had sussed out their betrayal with the beat of a heart. Pedro Junior gurgled in his rocking chair, a pleasant and satisfied baby he was a joy to parent. Tickling his stomach she chuckled.

“It will be you and nana tonight.” She cooed.

“Do we have plans?”

Standing to attention at the sound of his voice she turned slowly savouring his reaction.

“What have you done?”

The horror distorted his face and suddenly she felt foolish.

“That is bloodly ridiculous.” He continued. ” Who do you think you are; Molly.” He snapped

The words left his lips and shot like a bullet to her heart, bursting the seams and spilling all her blood. Tears sprung to her eyes she she patted her palms on her thighs nervously. – How dare he compare me to her.

“I mean…” he stopped at the sight of her tears rolling down her cheeks. “I’m sorry.” He gushed. “It’s a shock thats all.”

Smiling through her sadness she placed her hand on his chest and looked into his eyes.

“You haven’t see anything yet.”

Looking down into her eyes he could have swore he saw the sparks of igniting fire.
